Van Cao
Van Cao (November 15, 1923 - July 10, 1995) is a famous musician Vietnam. He is the author of "Marching Song", the anthem of Vietnam, as well as one of the most important face of modern music. Van Cao was a painter, a prolific poet values.
Generation of avant-garde musicians, Van Cao Dong Vong join the group, composed of the romantic song "Ben Spring", "Spring dream", "Eden", "Zhang Chi," ... noted in Vietnam history of modern music. After joining the Vietnamese Minh, Van Cao wrote "Marching Song", "Song Lo ca School", "Progress in Hanoi," ... become the typical songwriter genre resistance. A year after Van Cao lost, Hai Phong city has a street named after him in Ngo Quyen District. Hue has a street named Van Cao. Xuan Phu Ward, Van Cao Street Danang in Thanh Khe district. Ho Chi Minh City and Nam Dinh also has road named after him. [2] In 2005, ten years after Van Cao lost, Hanoi named Van Cao gave a most beautiful streets of the city every connection from Lieu Giai on Hoang Hoa Tham street. Mr. Nguyen Quoc Trieu, Chairman of the city that time, in person to the family Van Cao on the eve of the anniversary of the musician to the news.
